It is hard to believe that World International School Cambodia only opened its doors in 2012. Our unique school has come a long way in a relatively short time. Today just over 300 students from Pre- School to Grade 6 participate in the exciting programmes offered at our school. We strive to offer our students a truly holistic education by adopting the internationally acclaimed Singapore Education System as our guiding framework which both welcomes and celebrates diversity. This exceptionally holistic framework enables our challenging academic environment to extend well beyond the four walls of the classroom.
Our success is due to the outstanding quality of teachers who, using a holistic, child-centred, active learning approach, consistently strive to support the maximal development of each individual student. As a school founded on a basis of strong family values foundation we welcome teachers and students of all races, faiths and from all backgrounds with open arms.
Our core values are central to everything that we do: morality, integrity, responsibility, accountability, mutual respect, internationalism, leadership, experiences and service. As a result of this, we persistently strive to develop students who are intrinsically motivated to serve others and to give back to the community.
We are justifiably proud of the outstanding achievements of our students in the Singapore and Asian Schools Mathematics Olympiad (SASMO). We aim to build on these achievements so that many of our graduates continue their studies at many of the top universities around the world.
Outstanding academic results are only part of what we strive for here at WISC in general and TeukLaak Campus in particular. Our students will leave World International School Cambodia ready for lifelong learning. They will be confident and able to express their own opinions but open to the ideas of others and also able to work as part of a team. At TeukLaak campus we also strive to develop leadership in all our students, encouraging them to take risks, pushing them outside their own comfort zones – for this is where real character is formed.
