At the Early Learning Village, we integrate the principles of the Reggio Emilia philosophy that celebrates opportunities for the outdoor environment to be integrated as the ‘third teacher’. Each classroom is abundant with natural light, and stocked with beautifully designed sensory resources and all timber furnishings to stimulate imagination and kindle curiosity.
Attached to each classroom, there is a discovery space which tailors to the different grade levels, where children extend their learning as they venture through their own pint sized door to dig in the sand, splash in the water and enjoy different activities such as maker space or science learning with nature. Each teacher will change the resources and stimulation in the discovery space to extend their classroom learning.
